The Waverly Branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library that has been closed two years for expansion and renovations finally has an official opening date of tomorrow, Monday, August 31, 2015 at 12:00 PM, right on time for students from Waverly Elementary/Middle, Barclay Elementary/Middle and other nearby schools to be able to utilize the newly expanded and renovated Waverly Library Branch.

Tomorrow, Monday, August 31, 2015 is also the very first day of school for all Baltimore City Public Schools.

The official grand re-opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the Waverly Library Branch is scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake expected to attend.

According to a Baltimore Messenger article published by the Baltimore Sun (http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/baltimore-city/north-baltimore/ph-ms-waverly-library-reopens-0813-20150812-story.html), the Waverly Library Branch will be open from 12:00 PM Noon until 8:00 PM tomorrow, Monday, August 31, 2015 then the schedule will be:

  • Monday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Thursday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed
